Dear Parents,
After careful consideration, it was decided that LPA will no longer round on newborns at Inova Loudoun Hospital effective October 1, 2020. As we continue to navigate through this pandemic, we felt that our patients would be best served by us focusing on providing care for them in our office, and having more availability for early morning and weekend appointments.
We have had a longstanding relationship with the fantastic providers and staff at Loudoun Hospital, and will continue to closely work with them as they provide care to our patients in the nursery. While this was a very difficult decision to make for the practice, we are confident that our patients will be in great hands with the hospital team during their stay.
After discharge, please call our office to schedule your first newborn appointment in one of our three locations. You may also make an appointment with our Lactation Consultant for this first visit should you need the support.
