Alessandra joined LPA in July 2021. She completed her bachelor’s degree with a double major in Neuroscience and Psychology at Washington and Lee University. Alessandra started her nursing education at Johns Hopkins University School of Nursing, earning her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN). Alessandra completed her Pediatric Primary care education and Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP), a terminal degree in nursing, from Vanderbilt University School of Nursing. She graduated with honors at both institutions, being an active member of the Nursing Honor Society Sigma Theta Tau. Prior to joining LPA, Alessandra worked for a pediatric primary care office in Maryland. Alessandra has a focus on patient quality and safety, being named a Fuld Fellow while at Johns Hopkins and completing her doctorate project with a focus on increasing HPV vaccination rates in adolescents. Alessandra is also a member of the nursing faculty at George Washington University School of Nursing. When she is not seeing patients, she enjoys playing soccer, hiking, reading, and spending time with her family.
