New Mom's Support Group (FREE)

Join us for a weekly gathering to discuss your experiences with your new baby, have your questions answered by medical and counseling professionals, and have time to meet other new mothers. This group is open to any mother, new or repeat, current patient or not, with a baby from birth to 12 months. You do not need to call ahead to register
Breastfeeding Support Group (FREE)
Come discuss the joys and challenges of breastfeeding with other new mothers and even have a quick weight check done for your baby. Our group is led by a certified Lactation Specialist from 12:00pm - 1:00pm on Mondays in Purcellville and Wednesdays in Lansdowne. You do not need to call ahead. Just drop by !
Monthly Prenatal Breastfeeding Class (FREE)
Come and learn about the benefits of breastfeeding for both Mom and baby. Class discussions include proper techniques, what to expect, and a complete "how-to" in order to ensure a successful breastfeeding relationship. Classes will be taught by a certified Lactation Specialist and will be held from 9:00am to 11:30am in the Purcellville office. PLEASE CALL EITHER OFFICE TO REGISTER

Fit & Fabulous Group ($25/week)
We are offering a nutrition discussion group with our Registered Dietitian. The group will be geared toward our pre-adolescent and adolescent patients and will meet from 4:45pm - 6:00pm in our Lansdowne office. Ages 9-12 but if you have an older child, please call in inquire. Next session begins June 29th and goes through August 24th. PLEASE CALL EITHER OFFICE FOR MORE DETAILS AND TO REGISTER
Breastfeeding Support Services
We firmly believe in supporting our breastfeeding mothers; therefore, we are selling breastfeeding supplies and Moby wraps in both offices. We want to offer the convenience of "one-stop shopping." There are true benefits in not having to pack up your baby (and possibly other children) and leave our office to shop for your supplies. Also available to you are private appointments with our Lactation Specialists to discuss any issues or questions that you may encounter during this time with your new baby.
Accepting New Medicaid Patients
LPA is now accepting new Medicaid patients (Virginia Medicaid, Anthem Healthkeepers, and Amerigroup). Please call either office to register your children.
